My wine seminars are now available in the Los Angeles area. I have listed just a few of the many PowerPoint wine seminars I have developed. I can modify any of them or create new ones for your particular needs.

What is wine? How is one wine different from another? What makes them different? How do I taste wine critically? How do I know how to get what I want? What is “quality”? What wine is best? When? How do I serve it?

"Wine 101" is $20 per person for a 3-hour session or three 1-hour sessions. There is a materials fee of $25.00 per person. I require a minimum of 10 people. Seminars must be reserved at least two weeks ahead.
PINOT NOIR. What’s so great about it? People who really love wine usually come around to Pinot Noir as the greatest red wine in the world. Growers and winemakers consider it worth the effort even when success is rare. “Holy Grail” is a term you often hear. What is this “Holy Grail”? Is it pale and ethereal? Is it sensual and heady? Is it muscular? What, exactly, are the characteristics of Pinot Noir? Which Pinots are the best?

"Pinot Noir, a Taste-Off" is $20 per person for a 3-hour session or three 1-hour sessions. There is a $30 material fee per person and a minimum of 10 people. Seminars must be reserved at least two weeks ahead.
Spain has more land under the vine than any other country in the world and is the third largest producer of wine. Grapes were cultivated in Spain between 4,000 and 3,000 years B.C. and were growing in Spain before there were people.
Portugal is one of the most traditional or “old world” of wine-producing countries. Although small, Portugal produces almost as much wine as Australia.

This Seminar is $20 per person for a 3-hour session or three 1-hour sessions. There is a $20 material fee per person and a minimum of 10 people. Seminars must be reserved at least two weeks ahead.
Italy is the world’s second largest wine producer after France. It has the most land planted to vines except for Spain. Vines are cultivated everywhere and there are more types of vines planted than any other country. In this seminar we will explore the history and geography of Italy and taste wines from all the major areas.

The cost is $20 per person for a 3-hour session or three 1-hour sessions. There is a $25 material fee per person and a minimum of 10 people. Seminars must be reserved at least two weeks ahead.
This one is for restaurants.
The Seminar includes wine basics (Wine 101) plus wine vocabulary (how to communicate about wine), selling wine, serving wine, wine and food, the wine list, and wine flaws.

My fee for a Server Seminar is $200 for a three-hour class. There is no material fee because I expect to use wines from your stock.
